Meet our speech, occupational, and physical therapists, plus the care team who advocate for, cheer on, and support your whole family.

It all started in San Diego homes. Our therapists drove house to house, sat on living room floors, and worked with families in the middle of ordinary days. Not in a clinic room down the hall from a waiting area, but in the places where life was actually happening.
That is still the whole idea. Our therapists learn your mornings, your mealtimes, the parts of the day that feel hard, and the parts that already work. They work with you, not only with your family member, so the progress keeps going after the session ends.
When RL moved online, years before it was the norm, the family-centered, routines-driven model came with it. Therapy still happens in your home. All that changed is how your therapist gets there.

Your therapist shows you what they are doing and why, so the strategies are ready on a Tuesday night. There is no translating what happened in an office into what works in your kitchen. That is the part that makes progress stick.

If your family sees more than one RL therapist, they talk to each other. You are not the one repeating your child’s progress to every provider and hoping someone connects the dots. What happens in a speech session informs what happens in OT.

Our therapists are committed to neuroaffirming care. The goal is never to “fix” anything. It is to expand what your child or loved one can do, communicate, and access, in ways that fit who they already are.

Through Theratrak, you can send your therapist a video of the moment that happened at breakfast, the kind that never comes up during a session. This means you are not holding a question for days until the next appointment.
Every RL therapist starts by asking what you are working toward. Some goals we’ve supported include:

We’re always looking for talented SLPs, OTs, and PTs. Find out what it’s like to work for RL Therapy Group and submit your application.

Ryan is a speech-language pathologist and the founder of RL Therapy Group. She built the practice around a conviction she formed early in her career: parents already know their child better than any clinician will, and the therapist’s real job is to hand them strategies they can use to support their child or loved one.
That conviction has not changed as RL has grown. Ryan is an SLP first, and the practice she runs today works the same way it did when she was driving to families’ homes herself.
It also shapes who ends up here. Ryan looks for clinicians who are curious, who care deeply about each client’s goals, and who keep looking for a better way if the first approach does not land.

The free consultation is a conversation with one of our clinicians. They will listen, ask questions, and help you figure out the next step to turning your dreams into reality.

Fill out the form below. We’ll be in touch within two business days to schedule your free consultation.
